A Heilege Neshama Ascends: Answer the Cry of a Broken Almanah and Her Yesomim
Klal Yisroel has lost an adam gadol, a tzaddik nistar, and a revered mekubal whose entire world was the Beis Medrash and the holy Zohar. His spiritual madreigah was recognized by the greatest tzaddikim: Harav Kaduri zt”l called him a "Kohen Amiti," and, lehavdil bein chayim l'chayim, Harav Dovid Abuchatzira shlita referred to him as "Aharon Hacohen." Although he fled from kavod, his brachos and tefillos helped thousands of Yidden. Recently, he accepted terrible yissurim with complete emunah, undergoing a leg amputation. In the middle of the night, he asked his devoted wife for water, recited Shehakol with tremendous kavanah, and moments later, his pure neshama ascended to the Yeshiva Shel Maalah. In a chilling and beautiful testament to his holy essence, he was niftar on the very Yahrtzeit of Aharon Hacohen.
He leaves behind a shattered almanah and seven children, including two unmarried yesomim—a 19-year-old bochur and a 20-year-old daughter. With their illustrious father suddenly snatched away, these young yesomim are left without anyone to lead them to the chupa or help them build a bayis ne’eman b’Yisroel. The family had recently relocated to Beit Shemesh after a devastating financial downfall, and now the crushing loss of the head of their household has left them completely broken.
The financial matzav is absolutely catastrophic. The family is drowning in approximately half a million shekels of chovos (debt), facing active foreclosures and the ruthless pressure of Hotza'ah L'Poel (collection agencies). They own no assets and do not have a dirah. The chashuve almanah, who dedicated her life with mesiras nefesh to her husband’s Torah and their children, has no pension and only a meager survivor's stipend. There is zero financial safety net for her or her unmarried children to rely on during this horrific eis tzara.
We urgently appeal to Rachmanim Bnei Rachmanim to open their hearts. This tzaddik, who carried the pain of thousands and helped so many, now needs us to step in and save his own family. Without the immediate and generous tzedakah of the tzibbur, they have no chance of escaping this mountain of debt or marrying off the remaining yesomim with basic kavod.
