These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of chesedprojects.org (the “Site”), operated by Congregation Pirchei Shoshanim, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN 20-3330272), through its charitable fundraising division Chesed Projects. By using the Site or making a donation, you agree to these Terms.
Chesed Projects is a fundraising division of Congregation Pirchei Shoshanim, a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Donations made through the Site support the campaigns and charitable causes presented on it.
All donations are voluntary. To the extent permitted by law, contributions are tax-deductible; no goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation unless expressly stated. We issue a receipt for your records. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide and that the information you submit is accurate.
Because donations are charitable gifts, they are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, was duplicated, or was unauthorized, contact us within 15 days at info@chesedprojects.org and we will review the request in good faith.
Some features let you sign in with Google to view your own donation history and receipts. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account you use and for activity that occurs under your login. We may suspend access we reasonably believe is unauthorized or misused.
You agree not to use the Site to submit false information, attempt fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, disrupt or probe the Site’s security, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Payments are handled by third-party processors (which may include Stripe, The Donors Fund, OJC Fund, and Nedarim Plus). Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of these third parties.
The Site’s content, logos, and materials are owned by or licensed to Chesed Projects and Congregation Pirchei Shoshanim and may not be copied or used without permission.
The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Congregation Pirchei Shoshanim and Chesed Projects will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
